Updated February 2009: Sunflower Disco is a disco bar and live music club. It is located in Lahug, Cebu City, and is very easy to find. It sits just behind Cebu City Waterfront Hotel, a huge palacial looking building that is well known. The best way to get there is by Taxi, as the place is somewhat remote from Jeepney traffic and is open until the wee hours of the morning, the best time to come visit. The club entrance is 300p, but its worth it, as youll get 2 free drinks with that charge. Plus, there is a huge stage with a live band and a dance floor, which you wont find anywhere else in Cebu on week nights. The club is open until 2:00am most nights and on the weekends later. This is a great club to bring your bargirl, if you want to continue partying into the night with her. The reason we recommend this club over Pump and Juliana, is that it is a larger venue, not as crazy as Pump and Juliana and provides a great place to get comfortable with your girl without all the distractions. Plus, theyve got a great fruit platter that is out of this world.
Be careful of the Lady Boys here. There are many dancing on the floor and you can be fooled by them if you get too drunk. However, this is a great place to party and highly recommended for people looking for a late night of great entertainment in a comfortable venue. |
